UNMASK EP Cover IAMIXED Cover

Visionary artist IAMX, the long-running project of Chris Corner, will release two companion records on streaming platforms and digital download for the first time on May 22, 2026: UNMASK EP and IAMIXED: Reworks Fault Lines Albums 1 and 2.

Previously available only as limited physical editions on the 2025 Fault Lines2 tours—UNMASK EP in Europe and IAMIXED in North America—these releases now make a long-awaited digital debut, revealing unreleased and reimagined material from the Fault Lines era for a global audience.

Together, UNMASK EP and IAMIXED function as both reflection and transformation. As Corner explains, “I’ve never been fully convinced by the idea of a final, perfect product. There’s a lot of material that was peripheral but still connected.” UNMASK reveals the raw emotional undercurrents of the era through B-sides, a rework, and a recontextualized album track, while IAMIXED reconstructs the songs of Fault Lines through collaboration and reinterpretation.

Fans will recognize the opening track of UNMASK EP, “Grass Before The Scythe (ArtBleedsMoney Rework),” first introduced in the 2025 music video. The EP also features “Artificial Innocence (UNMASK Mix),” an early version of the recent single, unfolding as a more intimate and piano-driven take. Previously unheard outside of the physical edition, “There Will Be Times When I Will Need To Hurt You” serves as the emotional core of the EP. As Corner explains, “Those tracks felt like orphans. They didn’t belong to the Fault Lines family, but they don’t feel like part of the next thing either.”

IAMIXED spotlights the Fault Lines material through a diverse range of collaborators. The album includes reworks by Grammy-nominated producer Ryan McCambridge as Mimetic Hexes, harshwave duo Holy Braille, frequent IAMX live band member Carrellee, and goth-pop artists clubdrugs, who supported IAMX on the Fault Lines2 North American tour. The album also features two emerging electronic artists, Damn The Witch Siren and Nigen, whose contributions were selected through an IAMX fan remix contest. Corner encouraged contributors to take a transformative approach: “I really like when people completely reappropriate things and stamp their own identity on them.” Rounding out the release are an orchestral arrangement of “War Of Words” and a dreamlike modular reinterpretation of “In Bondage,” both reimagined by IAMX.

UNMASK EP and IAMIXED: Reworks Fault Lines Albums 1 And 2 will be available to stream and purchase digitally worldwide on all platforms on Friday, 22 May.

IAMX will perform at festivals across Europe throughout Summer and Fall 2026, including two multi-day events alongside VNV Nation, an appearance at the famed M'Era Luna Festival, a headlining performance at Infest, and the project’s first-ever show in Portugal at Extramuralhas.
