The new IAMX single ‘Artificial Innocence’ is streaming everywhere now, with the official music video premiering on YouTube and at New Noise Magazine.

‘Artificial Innocence’ marks a transition from the Fault Lines era toward the project’s next chapter.Originally released on the tour-exclusive CD and vinyl, UNMASK, the track has evolved alongside the music video from a b-side into a tense and synth-driven darkwave anthem.

Chris Corner of IAMX delivers a personally charged message through stark, confessional lyrics that wrestle with submission, control, and emotional numbness. Carried by soaring vocals and a relentless electronic pulse, the song captures IAMX in a moment both intimate and aggressive. It’s a powerful statement for longtime fans and a compelling entry point for listeners drawn to darker electronic and alternative sounds.

The official music video encapsulates the fiercely independent art-punk ethos of IAMX. Filmed in the expansive Southern California desert, Corner creates a series of striking monochrome cinematic visuals with little more than an iPhone, DIY costuming, and mirrors. The video follows contortionist and performer Katy Mikelle alongside Corner through a sun-drenched landscape, unfolding as a journey that is equally sensual, visceral, and intense.

The Artificial Innocence tour begins on 14 March with a top-billed performance by IAMX at Leipzig Germany's EoNLY Festival, followed by thirteen dates across Europe. IAMX will be supported on the Artificial Innocence tour by opening artist aux animaux, an innovative hauntwave musician from Stockholm.

Later this year, IAMX will take the stage at legendary gothic music festival, M'Era Luna in Hildesheim, Germany from August 8-9 as well as headlining Manchester UK's Infest, which takes place August 21-23. In the Autumn, IAMX returns to Germany for UNITY 2026. Tickets to all upcoming shows are available now at tickets.iamxmusic.com
